A candidate seeking admission must be born between 01-05-2014 and 31-07-2016 (both days inclusive). This applies to all categories including SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
At least 75% of the seats in a district are filled by candidates selected from rural areas. A candidate must have studied and passed Classes 3, 4, and 5 from government, government-aided, or recognized schools in rural areas spending one full academic session in each class.
No. There is zero negative marking in the JNVST test. Each correct answer carries 1.25 marks (80 questions = 100 marks), so students must attempt all 80 questions.
No. Under NVS regulations, no candidate is permitted to appear in the selection test for the second time under any circumstances.
