WBJEE has two papers conducted on the same day — Paper I (Mathematics, 2 hours) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry, 2 hours). Candidates must attempt both papers.
WBJEE questions are split into three categories with different marking: Category 1 (+1 for correct), Category 2 (+2 for correct, −0.5 for wrong) and Category 3 (+2 for correct, −0.5 for wrong). Negative marking applies only to Category 2 and 3 questions.
