How many papers are there in WBJEE?

WBJEE has two papers conducted on the same day — Paper I (Mathematics, 2 hours) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry, 2 hours). Candidates must attempt both papers.

What is the marking scheme in WBJEE?

WBJEE questions are split into three categories with different marking: Category 1 (+1 for correct), Category 2 (+2 for correct, −0.5 for wrong) and Category 3 (+2 for correct, −0.5 for wrong). Negative marking applies only to Category 2 and 3 questions.

Is there negative marking in WBJEE?

Yes — negative marking applies to Category 2 and Category 3 questions (−0.5 per wrong answer). Category 1 questions have no negative marking.
