Candidate Test Center Allocation Guidelines
Allotted in Your Home Block / Tehsil:
Parents do NOT need to travel to distant metro cities. The exam center is allocated in a government higher secondary school, Kendriya Vidyalaya, or designated examination hall within the child's local block or tehsil.
Exam Center Name Printed on Admit Card:
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti releases the official admit card ~3 weeks prior to exam day. The complete center name, center code, and reporting address are explicitly printed on it.
Two Phases of JNVST Exam:
Phase 1 (Winter-Bound): Held in mountainous regions (HP, J&K, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, parts of NE). Phase 2 (Summer-Bound): Held across the rest of the country in plains districts.
