1. Data Consolidation & Subtotals

Data Consolidation: Combines data from multiple separate sheets (e.g. Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 sales) into a single master summary sheet, applying functions like SUM, AVERAGE, MAX. Linking source data ensures the master updates dynamically!
Subtotals: Automatically calculates subtotal values and grand totals for grouped categorical data (e.g. sales by department), generating collapsible outline levels (1, 2, 3) in the margin.

2. What-If Analysis: Scenarios & Goal Seek

Scenarios: A tool to test 'what-if' questions by saving alternative sets of input values (e.g. High Inflation, Low Inflation, Base Case) for the same cell range, allowing instant switching to observe net profit outcomes.
Goal Seek: Reverse engineering a formula! When you know the desired final result (e.g. Want Net Profit = ₹5,00,000) but don't know the input value needed (e.g. Units to sell), Goal Seek automatically varies the specified input cell until the formula output hits your exact target.

3. Spreadsheet Macros

A Macro is a saved sequence of keystrokes, commands, and mouse clicks recorded in LibreOffice Basic. By assigning the macro to a shortcut key or toolbar button, tedious multi-step data cleaning tasks can be replayed in milliseconds.
