e-Business is a broader concept than e-Commerce:
- e-Commerce: Strictly covers customer and supplier facing commercial transactions conducted electronically over the Internet (buying and selling of goods/services).
- e-Business: Encompasses e-Commerce PLUS all internal electronically mediated business processes: digital production planning, inventory management, human resource tracking, automated accounting, and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
